Objectives
The Communicators & Marketers JobLine, sponsored by four of the Puget Sound region’s professional associations, provides an online job market where employers and subscribers pay to post and access job listings, while members access them for free.  Governed by a board of directors, the JobLine needs a trusted partner to revamp its Web site, and to manage job listings, e-commerce transactions, subscription requests, and customer service cost-effectively and reliably 24x7.

Our Strategy & Approach
To ensure the JobLine’s complete success, InfoAdvantage approached the site from management, technical and marketing standpoints. We:

1. Created a Web site that builds on the branding and trust that the sponsoring associations have earned from their members and employers in the region.
2. Designed a reliable e-commerce platform, with VeriSign, to facilitate job listings and subscription transactions online.
3. Developed a subscribers-only area to add member and subscriber value, and an efficient password assignment process for the sponsoring organizations’ membership.
4. Added an e-mail notification service to enhance subscriber value.
5. Created e-mail and online advertising programs to enhance the JobLine’s visibility and to generate qualified sales leads.
6. Manage job listings, reconcile transactions, track referrals and usage, review and compile monthly reports, and provide responsive customer service.

Outcome
The JobLine operates profitably with a high level of satisfaction from the sponsoring organizations, membership, subscribers and employers.  Revenues, profits and job listings grew every year.
