Objectives
EquiFriends wanted to more effectively build a community of sponsors, supporters and riders, and assemble resources needed to continue and expand on the therapeutic riding program to benefit children and individuals with disabilities. It is a nationally accredited human service non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through equestrian activities. Its Board has an ambitious plan to expand its facilities so it can meet the overwhelming demands of its riding program.

Our Strategy & Approach
InfoAdvantage developed a Web strategy of letting the young riders speak for this youth-serving organization. We:

  1. Developed a multi-level Sponsorship Program to more effectively tap the organization’s sponsor base to build the groundwork for a successful and sustaining funding program.
  2. Collaborated with the organization to create a multi-level Membership Program to build broad-based community support.
  3. Developed a messaging strategy to engage the organization’s target audiences and to enhance its brand.
  4. Created the site to be warm and personal, showing the real faces of young riders and volunteers, and inviting visitors to come to the barn and the open pasture.
  5. Designed and developed a Web site to build support with its sponsors, donors, members, volunteers and riders.  Each of the three postcards in the header is a call-to action, clickable to the appropriate sponsorship, volunteering, and donation pages.  The riders and volunteers “do the ask"!
  6. Streamlined the organization’s operations by enabling online registration, donations, and transactions.

Outcome
The Web site is in progress and expected to be completed by late summer/early fall 2006, visit the work-in-progress.
