Objectives
On The Green Apartments, a 48-building planned residential community on a golf course, is the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. In Phase 1 of this project, the owner planned to sell the individual buildings, and wanted to create an online sales tool to generate and track sales activities of commercial brokers who visit the site. In Phase 2, the owner wanted to use the Web site as an online leasing tool to attract inquiries and expedite the leasing process.
Our Strategy & Approach
In Phase 1, InfoAdvantage developed an online sales tool to track sales activities. We:
- Developed a Registered User area where visitors could set up a user profile and gain access with a password.
- Created an online search tool to present profiles of buildings that meet visitors’ specific search criteria. Visitors can search for buildings using multiple criteria, and the search tool is designed to generate the best three choice.
- Developed tracking tools to generate sales data for the owner to track each Registered User’s interest and sales activities.
In Phase 2, we created a very effective online marketing tool for the leasing office:
- We developed an online database for the approximate 500 apartment units.
- The customers working with the leasing agents will search for the available units, and review floor plans, views, pictures and leasing information. They can proceed to begin the application online.
Outcome
Both projects achieve their goals of capturing the interests of prospects, expediting the sales process, increasing the close ratio, expanding customer service to 24x7, and providing important management data.
